New True and the Rainbow Kingdom Special for Netflix

Guru Studio’s True and the Rainbow Kingdom is set to return to Netflix next month with a new special, TRUE: Friendship Day.

In the 22-minute special, a giant Grippity-Grab snags Grizelda’s friendship bracelet and turns her into a mermaid. To save the day, True and her magical wishes must head under the sea. TRUE: Friendship Day premieres on Netflix on September 1.

True and the Rainbow Kingdom, based on the artwork of FriendsWithYou and executive produced by Pharrell Williams, first launched on Netflix in 2017 and is now premiering on linear TV around the world. On YouTube, the series has reached over 350 million views. Consumer products for the brand, including storybooks, activity books, costumes and plush, are all available on Amazon.
