Miraculous Corp has tapped Mattel, Peanuts Worldwide and 20th Century Fox alum Roz Nowicki as global head of consumer products for its Miraculous franchise.

With over three decades of executive leadership in global licensing at Fortune 500s and other companies, Nowicki has overseen the success of brands such as Barbie, Peanuts, The Simpsons, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. She will now steer Miraculous Corp’s strategy across consumer products, gaming, promotions and live events, positioning the Miraculous brand for growth.

When Nowicki was at Mattel, she served as head of global consumer products and franchise marketing, growing the multi-category consumer products division and commissioning a best-in-class global team to drive innovation in franchise marketing and licensing. Prior to that, she was executive VP of Peanuts Worldwide, propelling the brand’s growth through partnership strategies with high-profile retail, licensing and promotional partners.

Earlier in her career, she served as executive VP of global licensing and retail at 20th Century Fox and as executive VP of global consumer products at 4Kids Entertainment. She began her career in licensing with The Walt Disney Company.

Nowicki continues to be a member of the Board of Advisors of Fabacus, a U.K.-based data management SaaS company. Also, having served the maximum three-year term on the Board of Licensing International, she continues to serve as co-chair of the fundraising committee and joined the Licensing International Foundation Board earlier this year.

“Roz brings a wealth of experience leading global licensing and merchandising strategy for some of the most successful IPs in the world,” said Andy Yeatman, CEO of Miraculous Corp, to whom she now reports. “Known for her strategic thinking, product innovation and entrepreneurial spirit in business, operations and people management, she will be instrumental as we adapt brand strategies to connect with consumers regionally and globally as we accelerate the growth of the Miraculous universe to become the most-watched and most-loved superhero IP for the next generation.”

“Miraculous is a rare gem that has captivated boys and girls worldwide with its action-packed stories, thrilling adventures and an inspiring coming-of-age journey that highlights the power of self-belief—reminding us that behind every mask lies a superhero,” Nowicki said. “As the brand approaches its tenth anniversary next year, I’m honored to join the team in shaping its future. Our goal is to ensure the brand continues to flourish over the next decade, working closely with strategic partners to develop innovative products and services that seamlessly blend creativity with the brand’s origins, delivering fresh, compelling experiences for fans old and new.”

Miraculous Corp is the recently formed joint venture between Mediawan and ZAG to consolidate all facets of the Miraculous brand and accelerate its growth worldwide. A second Miraculous feature film is already in the works, with a fourth Miraculous animated TV event airing this fall. Season six of the TV series Miraculous—Tales of Ladybug and Cat Noir is set for delivery later this year, and season seven is in production. The brand already has a thriving licensing and merchandising program, with over 400 licensees across the globe and over $1.5 billion in lifetime retail sales.
