Lion Guard Supervising Director Signs on for CYM Conference

MONTREAL: Howy Parkins, the supervising director for the animated series The Lion Guard, is set to participate in an exclusive session hosted by the Youth Media Alliance (YMA) at the 2015 Children, Youth & Media (CYM) Conference.

The conference will be held November 18 to 20 in Toronto. Set to premiere on November 22, The Lion Guard is a new Disney series based on The Lion King. During the CYM session, Parkins plans to discuss the creative process from development to launch, production challenges, the strategy for reaching the target audience and the design of merchandise. The conversation will be moderated by Clint Elan, the president and executive producer at Mercury Filmworks.
