Lion Forge Entertainment has picked up exclusive international sales rights for a slate of children’s animated projects, including The Wingfeather Saga.
The Wingfeather Saga is an action-adventure fantasy series from Angel Studios and Shining Isle Productions that is based on the book series by Andrew Peterson. The three-season series, comprising 19 22-minute episodes, is designed for children ages 6 to 11 co-viewing.
The story follows the journey of the Igiby family as they uncover secrets of their family history, flee the evil Fangs of Dang and seek their place in the world. Using their special gifts, along with the love of their noble mother and ex-pirate grandfather, they survive venomous fangs, sea dragons, flabbits and toothy cows along the way.
Lion Forge also secured international distribution rights to two 45-minute holiday specials from Holiday Hill Farm, aimed at children ages 3 to 7. Spookley the Square Pumpkin is a Halloween special in which Spookley is teased because of his unusual shape until a mighty storm threatens the patch, and he discovers that different can make all the difference in the world. Spookley and the Christmas Kittens sees Spookley and his friends come together to help a green cat named Mistletoe and three stray kittens find a home, teaching viewers the importance of kindness and doing the right thing.
