Layla Lewis Moves Up at Nickelodeon

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) has elevated Layla Lewis to senior VP of global acquisitions and content partnerships for Nickelodeon.

In her new role, Lewis will work under Elizabeth Murray, the executive VP of programming and content strategy for Nickelodeon Group in the U.S., and Jules Borkent, the executive VP of content and network management for Nickelodeon International. She and her team will oversee the acquisitions for Nick’s 100-plus locally programmed channels, both domestically and abroad. She will also cultivate partnerships with content distributors and creators worldwide.

Lewis was appointed as Nickelodeon’s VP of global content acquisitions in 2013. Earlier in her career, she served in content acquisition positions at both Turner Broadcasting in Hong Kong and Nickelodeon UK.
