La Cabane, France Télévisions Team for New Series

La Cabane and France Télévisions have entered a development partnership for the preschool animation Luce in the Lovely Land.

Based on the short film Luce and the Rock, the 39×7-minute series is co-produced with Belgium’s Thuristar and also developed in partnership with the Dutch-language pubcaster VRT-Ketnet. Britt Raes serves as writer and director.

The series of colorful and quirky tales features Luce, a curious and daring 6-year-old, who opens her little bedroom window each morning to see what’s happening in the Lovely Land. Every day is a new adventure.

“France Télévisions is a wonderful partner for this strong and unique project, which is very close to our hearts,” said Perrine Gauthier, co-founder of La Cabane, partner at Thuristar and producer of the series. “We can’t wait to bring Britt Raes’ first series to the screen!”

Raes added, “I am beyond excited to develop the series with such supportive producing and broadcasting partners. Luce observes and explores the world with wonder, and soon the world will be able to observe and explore the Lovely Land with Luce!”
