Kidoodle.TV Rolls Out Miss Persona PSA

A Parent Media Co. (APMC), owner of Kidoodle.TV, is adding additional resources to the platform to help parents during the COVID-19 crisis, including a special episode of the Nelvana-produced Miss Persona.

The episode, entitled “Teddy Bear Kindergarten is Canceled!,” follows Miss Persona and Brandon Bear as they learn ways to be helpful inside the house after teddy bear kindergarten is canceled. Tackling many families’ current reality, it aims to help children better understand how to make the best of tough situations. In addition to the PSA, the full Miss Persona series will be added to the Kidoodle.TV service in the coming weeks.

Kidoodle.TV, which is increasing its content offering beyond its current library of more than 20,000 episodes amid the pandemic, has also rolled out Helpful Hands, a weekly e-resource delivered to parents that includes a roundup of educational services, entertainment options, and physical and emotional health resources.

Michael Lowe, CEO of APMC, said: “As a child-focused company and with families of our own, we are extremely aware of the challenges currently facing families around the world, many of whom have lost or reduced incomes due to current circumstances, and many of whom are trying to care for children at home while schools and child-care options are closed.”

Lowe adds, “A recent, significant increase in usage across our service is telling us that parents are in need of a helpful hand, and we’re committed to providing it.”

Brenda Bisner, Kidoodle.TV’s chief content officer, said: “We are working hard every day to provide relevant, quality content for affected families and feel that adding this PSA with Miss Persona will help parents with the conversations they are currently navigating.”
