Extended Big Blue Theme Song Released

The extended version of the Timbaland-produced theme song for Guru Studio’s Big Blue has been released.

Big Blue follows sibling underwater adventurers Lettie and Lemo as they lead a quirky submarine crew with a magical ocean fairy stowaway. The hip-hop theme song is written by Anthem Entertainment’s Jingle Punks and is available across music streaming services.

The series, created by Gyimah Gariba (named one of 15 Young African Creatives Rebranding Africa by Forbes), encourages children to explore and protect our environment. It is currently airing in Canada on CBC Kids and CBC and in the U.K. on Nickelodeon.

“Trying something different is what it’s all about, and being a part of a kids’ show that’s so unique is as different as it gets for me,” said Timbaland. “I’m looking forward to speaking to the next generation and helping to make a difference.”
