Distribution360 has secured a raft of new deals in Italy, Thailand and the U.S. for several kids’ series on its slate.

In the U.S., the recently launched Kartoon Channel has acquired the animated series Atomic Betty, as well as 100 episodes of the preschool music title Super Simple Songs, Carl’s Car Wash, The Bumble Nums and Mr. Monkey, Monkey Mechanic, all of which are produced by Skyship Entertainment. The educational SVOD Epic! has licensed Super Simple Songs and renewed its existing license for MathXplosion. Treasure Champs has been picked up by the U.S.-based streamer Pure Flix.

In Italy, the public broadcaster RAI has acquired MathXplosion and ScienceXplosion, both of which are produced by GAPC Entertainment.

Cineplex in Thailand has acquired a major package for its True Visions branded channels and platforms comprising more than 300 episodes across a range of preschool titles. Series in the deal include Super Simple Songs, Super Simple ABC Phonics Fun, Turn and Learn ABCs, Pratfall ABCs, The Bumble Nums, Treetop Family, Finley’s Factory, Paper Puppet Playhouse and Carl’s Car Wash.

Diane Rankin, Distribution360’s senior VP of rights, said: “We have some exceptional ‘edutainment’ content in our kids’ catalog, so are always delighted when titles from the Xplosion and Super Simple franchises find new homes with such great partners. With so many parents and caregivers continuing to help with at-home learning activities, the D360 team has been able to support buyers’ programming strategies to acquire entertaining content that really does make learning fun for their audiences.”
