Disney Signs Overall Deal with Latoya Raveneau

Writer, producer and director Latoya Raveneau (Rise Up, Sing Out; The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder) has entered into an overall deal with Disney.

Raveneau will develop and produce animated projects with Disney Television Animation and 20th Television Animation. The deal also includes terms for live-action content development.

Through the agreement, Raveneau is already developing a pilot at Disney Television Animation under the leadership of Meredith Roberts, senior VP and general manager of television animation. She is also currently directing the newly debuted series The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, executive producing Rise Up, Sing Out and screenwriting Disney Junior’s upcoming musical series Eureka!

Raveneau will develop projects for 20th Television Animation as well, under the leadership of Marci Proietto, the studio’s executive VP.
