Disney Channel Germany Names New VP, GM

Thorsten Braun is replacing Lars Wagner as VP and general manager for Disney Channel in Germany, Switzerland and Austria (GSA).

In his new position, which is effective immediately, Braun will oversee all of Disney’s television networks in German-speaking territories. These include Disney Channel free to air and Disney Junior, Disney XD and Disney Cinemagic in pay TV.

Braun will also continue his existing duties as VP and general manager of Disneymedia+, which is a division of The Walt Disney Company. In that role, he is responsible for all ad sales and promotional activities in the GSA region.
