CBS Sets Premiere Date for Michael Jackson’s Halloween

Michael Jackson’s Halloween, a new animated special featuring music from the late King of Pop, is due to debut on CBS late next month.

Michael Jackson’s Halloween follows millennials Vincent and Victoria on a magical journey that ends with a dance finale led by an animated Michael Jackson. The voice cast includes Christine Baranski, Kiersey Clemons, Alan Cumming, George Eads, Brad Garrett, Lucy Liu, Jim Parsons and Lucas Till. The hour-long special will premiere on October 27 at 8 p.m. on CBS in the U.S.

Michael Jackson’s Halloween was created and produced by Optimum Productions, which is now owned by the estate of the deceased pop star. John Branca and John McClain, co-executors of the estate, serve as executive producers. Daniel Chuba is the producer and Mark A.Z. Dippé is the director. Animation production for the special was provided by Hammerhead.
