CAKE Unveils Second Season of Space Racers

LONDON: CAKE is launching a sophomore season of the CGI-animated preschool show Space Racers, which is produced by Space Race.

Space Racers follows Eagle, Robyn, Hawk, Starling and Raven as they travel through the solar system, using teamwork and scientific discovery to explore the universe. The second installment will feature some of NASA’s most famous explorations, including Mercury’s MESSENGER probe, the Voyager One spacecraft, and Mars rovers Curiosity, Opportunity and Spirit. The 40×11-minute new season is debuting on NBCU’s Sprout in the U.S.

Ed Galton, the CCO and managing director at CAKE, remarked: “Space Racers has been extremely popular with young audiences and with 40 brand-new adventures from our favorite rocket cadets, our young viewers will not be disappointed.”

Space Racers has been translated into 25 languages and has premiered in more than 130 territories around the globe, including on Netflix, France 5, RTE, YLE Finland, NRK Norway, Hop in Israel, TVNZ in New Zealand, MBC and Al Jazeera in Middle East, KBS in South Korea and PBS Thailand.
