CAKE Adds Preschool Series Tolibob to Catalog

LONDON: CAKE has signed on to distribute the new preschool show Tolibob, which is produced by Beakus in association with Cloth Cat for CBeebies in the U.K. and ABC in Australia.

Tolibob follows the adventures of a group of forest creatures who combine shapes, colors and patterns to create new characters. The 52×5-minute program is meant for little ones between the ages of 2 and 5. It was created and developed by director/producer Steve Smith and author/illustrator Leigh Hodgkinson. CAKE is handling the global rights outside of Japan.

Ed Galton, the chief commercial officer and managing director at CAKE, commented: “Tolibob is a fun, unique concept that shows children how to create characters using shapes, patterns and their imagination. With a terrific award-winning team behind it, we are sure it will be warmly received at MIPCOM.”
