BWI to Roll Out Yu-Gi-Oh! Skateboards

Bear Walker Industries (BWI) has entered an agreement with Konami Cross Media NY that will see a line of Yu-Gi-Oh! skateboards debut later this summer.

Founded by Bear Walker, BWI is a design and manufacturing company that specializes in custom, hand-crafted and limited-edition boards, in part inspired by nostalgia and pop culture. BWI’s line of Yu-Gi-Oh! skateboards will be based on Exodia, a monster that is made up of five separate trading cards.

“Yu-Gi-Oh! fans are in for the ride of their life,” said Jennifer Coleman, VP of licensing and marketing at Konami Cross Media NY. “Thanks to the talents of Bear and BWI creative team, the new Yu-Gi-Oh! skateboards will be functional, beautiful and high quality, turning skateboarding into a rideable art on wheels.”

Walker added: “I want getting a piece of this collection to feel like you pulled an Exodia card. Something that will be cherished and coveted. A lot of work is going into this collection, and we’ll be unveiling some new styles that we’ve never done before. I have a few surprises that I think Yu-Gi-Oh! fans will really appreciate.”
