Nancy Yeaman has been promoted to the newly created role of chief operating officer at Brain Power Studio, which has also made a new hire in finance.
Yeaman will oversee Brain Power Studio’s IP creation initiatives and corporate affairs. She moves up from the role of executive VP of kids and original content, where she was managing content business affairs, including talent negotiations, IP acquisitions and writer agreements. Yeaman previously has worked at Portfolio Entertainment and WildBrain in senior development roles.
Rimma Belau joins the team as director of finance, overseeing production and corporate finance, as well as risk management. She will lead consolidation efforts and foster relationships with third-party lenders and auditors. Belau is a seasoned CPA with over 15 years of experience in accounting and finance across the entertainment and manufacturing industries, having previously served as finance manager at TimePlay.
