Arthur to End with Season 25

The long-running children’s hit Arthur will come to an end with season 25 on PBS KIDS.

“In the winter of 2022, the 25th and final season of Arthur will debut,” said Executive Producer Carol Greenwald. “Arthur will continue to be available on PBS KIDS for years to come. Producer GBH and PBS KIDS are continuing to work together on additional Arthur content, sharing the lessons of Arthur and his friends in new ways.”

The Emmy-winning series has been on the air since 1996. It is based on the books by Marc Brown. Targeted at children ages 4 to 8, the show chronicles the adventures of 8-year-old Arthur through stories that explore issues faced by real kids and from a kid’s point of view.
