Apple TV+ Unveils Fall 2022 Slate of Kids’ Programming

Apple TV+ has revealed its fall 2022 slate for kids and families, featuring a host of new series and returning fan favorites.

Kicking off the fall slate on September 9, a second Peanuts anthology will begin streaming on the platform, featuring He’s a Bully, Charlie Brown; He’s Your Dog, Charlie Brown; It Was a Short Summer, Charlie Brown; and more.

The new preschool animated series Sago Mini Friends is slated to premiere on September 16. Produced by Spin Master Entertainment and animated by 9 Story Media Group’s Brown Bag Films, the series is based on the characters and designs in the Sago Mini World app. The show celebrates gratitude, with the main characters expressing their true thankfulness for all things each episode through optimism, kindness, preschool-friendly humor and original songs.

Season two of Wolfboy and the Everything Factory is set to make its debut on September 30. Co-created by Edward Jesse (Create Together), developed by Michael Ryan (Kung Fu Panda) and executive produced by Joseph Gordon-Levitt, the second season takes Wolfboy to a new realm underneath the Everything Factory that is responsible for all of the destruction in the universe.

Also on September 30, the second season of Get Rolling with Otis is set to premiere. Based on the book series by Loren Long, the show from 9 Story Media Group and Brown Bag Films takes young viewers to Long Hill Dairy Farm, where Otis the tractor helps his friends any time he sees they’re in need.

Hello, Jack! The Kindness Show season two is slated to begin streaming on October 7, with Jack continuing to spread compassion, creativity and imagination. The show is co-created and executive produced by Jack McBrayer (Phineas and Ferb, Wreck-It Ralph franchise) and Angela C. Santomero (Blue’s Clues, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood) and produced by Jax Media and 9 Story Media Group with animation by its studio Brown Bag Films.

A third season of Ghostwriter, a reimagining of the 1992 hit series from Sesame Workshop, is slated to make its premiere on October 21 with an entirely new cast and a new adventure. The show sees a ghost who haunts a bookstore and releases fictional characters into the real world.

The brand-new puppet/2D animation series Slumberkins is set to debut on November 4. Based on the children’s emotional learning brand Slumberkins, the series brings to life some of the characters from the books as they explore new stories of friendship, confidence and connection to model healthy relationships. It was created for television by Alex Rockwell (Word Party, Pajanimals), who executive produces alongside The Jim Henson Company’s Halle Stanford.

On November 11, the new futuristic anthology series Circuit Breakers is slated to premiere. Created by Melody Fox, the show tackles kid-relatable issues through a sci-fi lens.

Rounding out the fall 2022 slate is Interrupting Chicken, a new animated preschool series set to begin streaming on November 18. Based on the book series written and illustrated by David Ezra Stein, the series introduces children to creative writing through a young little chicken named Piper who has a habit of interrupting story time.
