All-Nigerian Iyanu Cast Selected

Cartoon Network and Max have unveiled the all-Nigerian voice cast for the upcoming animated series Iyanu.

Serah Johnson, Okey Jude and Samuel Kugbiyi are set to lead. The Lion Forge Entertainment production is an adaptation of Dark Horse Comics and YouNeek Studios’ graphic novel series Iyanu: Child of Wonder by award-winning Nigerian creator and producer Roye Okupe.

Adesua Etomi-Wellington, Blossom Chukwujekwu, Shaffy Bello, Stella Damasus and Ike Ononye are also featured voices.

Iyanu is slated for release in the U.S. on Cartoon Network and Max in 2025 and has a 26-episode, two-season order.
