New Sofia the First Appisode Now Available

BURBANK: Sofia the First: Minding the Manor, a new interactive appisode based on the popular preschool series, has launched on the Disney Junior Appisodes app for iOS devices.

In the interactive version of Minding the Manor, children can play along as Sofia travels to her aunt’s house to help her get ready for an afternoon garden party. When she arrives, Sofia realizes that she brought along a group of gargoyles who threaten to ruin her aunt’s party. Kids can fully engage in the appisode as they help Sofia turn the gargoyles back into stone. They can discover magical music box surprises, gather balloons to open the secret passageway, keep the gargoyles out of the manor, swat away slime, and help Sofia save the magical music box and the manor.

Select appisodes are now available in Google Play, the Amazon App Store and Amazon’s Kindle FreeTime Unlimited Service. Meant for little ones between the ages of 2 and 7, they are developed by Disney|ABC Television Group’s digital media team. There are also appisodes from other Disney Junior shows, including Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Jake and the Never Land Pirates.
