Hopster Launches in Iceland

LONDON: Hopster has inked a carriage deal with Vodafone Iceland that sees the kids' learning and entertainment service join the mobile and IPTV provider's SVOD service Vodafone PLAY.

Hopster is now available via all three Vodafone PLAY subscriptions across Iceland (Vodafone PLAY, Vodafone PLAY M and Vodafone PLAY L), with hundreds of local-language episodes of its programs being offered around the country. Youngsters will be able to watch a number of shows in Icelandic, including Thomas & Friends, Pingu and Bob the Builder, as well as national nursery rhymes. In addition, Hopster is localizing such other hits as Max & Ruby, Wanda and the Alien and Peg + Cat, which will also be debuting on Vodafone PLAY. The Hopster mobile app is slated to launch in Iceland early next year.
