Disney Branded TV Promotes Pair for Original Programming

Disney Branded Television has promoted Lori Mozilo and Kim Berglund to VPs of original programming for Disney Junior.

Previously executive director of current series, Mozilo will continue to manage the partnership with Marvel, including development responsibilities for new Marvel properties. Berglund, formerly executive director of development, is currently spearheading the development of a series of animated shorts entitled Rise Up, Sing Out and will continue to develop original and Disney IP-based projects.

They will both be reporting to Alyssa Sapire, senior VP of original programming at Disney Junior.

Sapire said, “Lori’s dedication to detail, emphasis on nurturing talent and creative instincts have helped solidify Disney Junior’s place in the market, and Kim’s vast experience, ability to cultivate talent and commitment to telling stories that matter will continue to propel us to further heights.”
