Freeform Sets Funday Block with Disney Classics & More

Freeform has scheduled its weekend-long Funday programming event featuring classic animated Disney films such as Pocahontas and live-action favorites like Matilda for the weekend of April 22 to 23.

The programming block kicks off on Saturday, April 22, at 9:05 a.m. with the 1997 film Jungle 2 Jungle, starring Tim Allen. The film adaptation of Roald Dahl’s Matilda follows at 11:35 a.m., while Gnomeo and Juliet will run on Saturday at 1:40 p.m. and again on Sunday, April 23, at 11:40 a.m. The animated film Pocahontas will air on April 22 at 3:40 p.m. and will repeat the next day at 1:40 p.m.

Additional highlights include the Disney movie Bolt, featuring the voices of John Travolta and Miley Cyrus, which will run at 5:40 p.m. on Saturday and again on Sunday at 3:40 p.m. The Disney-Pixar film Toy Story will air on Saturday at 7:50 p.m., with a repeat scheduled for 5:50 p.m. the next day. The sequel, Toy Story 2, is slated to run at 9:50 p.m. on Saturday and 7:50 p.m. on Sunday. Mulan is another highlight of the weekend-long programming event. The animated movie featuring Eddie Murphy will run on Saturday at 11:55 p.m., with a repeat slated for Sunday at 9:55 p.m.
