ARLINGTON: Later this week, PBS KIDS is due to debut OddTube, a digital short-form spin-off of the Emmy-winning series Odd Squad.

OddTube will look on as Odd Squad‘s Agent Olympia speaks directly to the camera and encourages interaction and submissions from the audience. Viewers will be asked to vote on various topics or send in their own ideas for the show. The miniseries will feature 20 1- to 3-minute episodes. It premieres tomorrow on PBS KIDS’ YouTube channel, website and video app.

OddTube is produced by The Fred Rogers Company and Sinking Ship Entertainment. New episodes will debut every week until March 23, 2017.

Also this month, PBS KIDS is slated to begin airing eight new half-hour episodes of Bob the Builder. The reimagined CGI-animated series will return to the channel on November 12. It is produced by Mattel’s HIT Entertainment together with THIRTEEN Productions in association with WNET.

Christopher Keenan, senior VP and executive producer at Mattel Creations, said: “Bob the Builder is built on themes that are important for children to learn at a young age, including teamwork, determination and optimism. We are looking forward to bringing all-new episodes to PBS KIDS so little ones can continue to grow and learn with Bob and the team.”
