You’re Back in the Room Heads to LatAm

MIAMI: BBC Worldwide’s You’re Back in the Room from Tuesday’s Child is getting its first Latin American version, with RCN in Colombia set to launch the adaptation next month.

Miracol Media will produce 15 hour-long episodes of Hipnosis: Un Juego de Mente. It will be hosted by actor, director and presenter Victor Mallarino, with comedy stage hypnotist Mustafa Badawy.

The format has also been produced locally in France, the Netherlands and Australia; is in production with FOX in the U.S.; and has been optioned in markets such as Belgium, Chile, Denmark, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Norway, Peru, Portugal and Spain.

“With You’re Back in the Room Tuesday’s Child have created a fresh and very funny format that’s mesmerizing viewers of all ages,” said Kate Phillips, the creative director of formats for BBC Worldwide. “It’s utterly joyful and unpredictable and I’m delighted that RCN are embracing the chaos!”
