Youngest Media Group Taps Elwin de Groot for Development

Youngest Media Group has bolstered its Los Angeles-based development team with two new executive appointments, including tapping Elwin de Groot as head of development.

De Groot is a senior development executive and executive producer with a background in unscripted formats, having worked with Optomen Productions (All3Media), Armoza Formats, MTV Entertainment/Paramount, Sony Pictures Television, Talpa Content and Endemol Shine. Now, de Groot is heading up Youngest Media’s creative team and leading the charge in the creative development of the company’s format library, managing its creative partnerships, international distribution and sales and acting as a strategic advisor.

De Groot, while continuing his outside consultancy, reports to Youngest Media Group’s managing director, Ed October.

Additionally, Maddie Large has been named development coordinator.
