BBC Studios has signed a deal with Acunmedya for a Turkish adaptation of The 1% Club<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Acunmedya acquired the prime-time entertainment format to air on TV8. A 10×2-hour treatment will go into production in late 2023 and is scheduled to air in the first half of 2024.<\/p>\n

Today at MIPCOM, Cannes delegates took part in a live play-along version of The 1% Club<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Andr\u00e9 Renaud, senior VP of global format sales at BBC Studios, said: “The 1% Club<\/em> continues to go from strength to strength, reaching seven international territories and heading into second and third series in multiple markets elsewhere. We are excited to work with Acunmedya,\u00a0which has a fantastic track record of bringing hit entertainment global formats to local Turkish audiences. We\u2019ve had a brilliant morning playing the game live here in Cannes with delegates from all over the world, so I\u2019m confident that we\u2019ll have more countries joining The 1% Club<\/em> in the near future.”<\/p>\n
