BBC Studios has picked up a 25 percent stake in Mettlemouse Entertainment, the new unscripted formats indie set up by former Lime Pictures exec Sarah Tyekiff.<\/p>\n
Tyekiff was previously head of unscripted at Lime Pictures, working on properties like\u00a0TOWIE<\/em>, Geordie Shore<\/em> and Celebs Go Dating<\/em>, and an executive producer at ITV, where her credits included\u00a0Love Island<\/em> and Simon Cowell’s Red or Black<\/em>. With the deal,\u00a0BBC Studios will have a first look on global distribution and format rights to\u00a0Mettlemouse Entertainment shows.<\/p>\n Joining\u00a0Tyekiff at Mettlemouse is\u00a0Shaun Parry, former chief creative officer at Youngest Media, as creative director. His credits include Moneybags<\/em>, Million Pound Menu<\/em> and Bromans<\/em>. At Endemol Shine, he co-created Pointless<\/em> and Almost Impossible Gameshow<\/em>.<\/p>\n Emma Hardie, commercial director for international production and formats at BBC Studios, said: \u201cSarah has been behind some of the U.K.\u2019s most successful entertainment and prime-time reality formats.
