Additionally, <em>The Floor<\/em> will be produced and broadcast by Kanal D Romania, part of Dogan Media International, for a weekly prime-time run this fall in Romania.<\/p>\n<p>Sebastian van Barneveld, Talpa\u2019s director of international distribution, said: \u201c<em>The Floor<\/em>\u2019s flexible arced structure ensures all markets can localize and enjoy this high-stakes combination of strategy, gameplay and knowledge.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clara Bomboe, programming and strategy director of Kanal D Romania, added: \u201cWe are very excited to have <em>The Floor<\/em> among our formats. We are constantly investing in quality content, and we are already trendsetters on the smart quiz and game show segments, with some successful productions. We believe we can enter another level with the spectacular and dynamic <em>The Floor<\/em>. We\u2019ll have an experienced internal production team work on the project.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Carmen Ferreiro, director of entertainment programs at Atresmedia, said: \u201cWe are delighted to add <em>The Floor<\/em> to our catalog of major entertainment brands. It\u2019s an original and highly innovative game show, characteristics that we highly value for our formats and our way of understanding television.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Van Barneveld added: \u201cSpain is a market with a strong track record in game shows. <em>The Floor<\/em> is a unique, instantly engaging, arced game show built for this day and age. The epic life-or-death quiz duels are bound to deliver dramatic moments.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Daniel Domenj\u00f3, executive director of Mediacrest, said: \u201cIt\u2019s a privilege and a thrilling challenge to partner with Talpa, with such a powerful format.
