Henson Joins Candid Camera Reboot"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Emmy- and Oscar-nominated actor Taraji P. Henson (<em>Empire<\/em>, <em>Hidden Figures<\/em>) has joined the reboot of <em>Candid Camera<\/em> as host and executive producer.<\/p>\n<p>From Village Roadshow Unscripted Television and Candid Camera, Inc., the new version of the series will feature modern gags with the same spirit as the original show. Henson, who is executing producing through her TPH Productions, will appear alongside series veteran Peter Funt.<\/p>\n<p>Funt and Mark Itkin, through his Tough Lamb Media, will also executive produce.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf this announcement is some kind of epic prank by Taraji and my friends at Village Roadshow, then I\u2019ve really been had!\u201d Funt said. \u201cThere couldn\u2019t be a better time to bring back <em>Candid Camera<\/em>. Folks need stress-free smiles more than ever. Our show has a lot in common with <em>Ted Lasso<\/em>\u2014minus the cursing.
