{"id":9668,"date":"2023-04-18T11:08:38","date_gmt":"2023-04-18T15:08:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/peacock-orders-first-love-island-spin-off\/"},"modified":"2023-04-18T11:20:32","modified_gmt":"2023-04-18T15:20:32","slug":"peacock-orders-first-love-island-spin-off","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/peacock-orders-first-love-island-spin-off\/","title":{"rendered":"Peacock Orders First Love Island Spin-Off"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Peacock has given a series order for <em>Love Island Games<\/em>, the first-ever spin-off of the hit dating show <em>Love Island<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Set to premiere in fall 2023,<em> Love Island Games<\/em> brings together previous contestants from the U.S., U.K., Australia and beyond for a second shot at love.<\/p>\n<p>The former Islanders will be faced with team and couples challenges, all while navigating dating, eliminations, recoupling and, as always, dramatic new arrivals.<\/p>\n<p>The first season of <em>Love Island Games<\/em> will premiere on the heels of Peacock\u2019s upcoming fifth season of <em>Love Island USA<\/em>. The fourth season of the American iteration\u2014the streamer\u2019s most-watched original reality competition series in its history\u2014is currently available in full.<\/p>\n<p><em>Love Island Games<\/em> is being produced by ITV Entertainment, an ITV America company. David George, Adam Sher, Simon Thomas, Andy Cadman and Ben Thursby-Palmer are executive producers, alongside Tom Gould, Richard Cowles, Mike Spencer, Richard Foster and Chet Fenster. The series is based on the <em>Love Island<\/em> format, owned by Lifted Entertainment and GroupM Motion Entertainment and\u202fdistributed by ITV Studios.
