The Australian version will launch on Channel 7 and 7plus in 2024.<\/p>\n<p><em>Stranded on Honeymoon Island<\/em> was created by Snowman Productions, which is also behind <em>Married at First Sigh<\/em>t. The company will set up and manage a production hub in Southeast Asia to facilitate the year-round filming of new local versions of <em>Stranded on Honeymoon Island<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-GB\">The show originated on Belgium\u2019s VTM, where the premiere posted a market share of 46 percent in the main target demo of 18 to 54 and 51 percent in the 15-to-34 demo, doubling the broadcaster\u2019s average market share. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>Tim Gerhartz, president and managing director at Red Arrow Studios International, said:\u00a0\u201c<em>Stranded on Honeymoon Island<\/em> is really creating a sensation among broadcasters around the world, and we are absolutely delighted that Seven has snapped up the show for Australia so soon after its successful launch in Belgium. After years of increasingly dramatic reality shows, we have seen a growing demand for more authenticity\u2014and <em>Stranded on Honeymoon Island<\/em> truly captures the zeitgeist, delivering a heady combination of real-life experiences packaged with the gloss of exotic escapism.
