TheYearOfElan will produce content across various unscripted genres, including dating and relationship.<\/p>\n<p>Gale\u2019s team at TheYearOfElan includes Director of Development Laura Citren (formerly in development and production at Discovery) and Development Manager Tessa Stewart (previously manager of nonfiction television and alternative programming at 101 Studios).<\/p>\n<p>Prior to forming TheYearOfElan\u2014whose name is in reference to <em>Seinfeld<\/em> episode\u2014Gale was an executive producer on <em>The Bachelor<\/em> and worked for more than a decade across 30 collective seasons of the franchise, its spin-offs and off-shoots. Since setting up his own company, he created <em>FBoy Island<\/em> for HBO Max and has been behind recent premieres such as the Taye Diggs-hosted <em>Back in the Groove<\/em> for Hulu, <em>The One That Got Away<\/em> and <em>Cosmic Love<\/em> for Amazon, and ABC\u2019s <em>Pooch Perfect<\/em> with Rebel Wilson.<\/p>\n<p>On the scripted side, Gale is a horror writer and producer, with credits on <em>Midnight Mass<\/em> and <em>The Midnight Club<\/em> for Netflix. He also served as an executive producer on <em>Agnes<\/em> and <em>Lovely, Dark, and Deep<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCreativity is what truly drives our business forward, even at a time when the industry seems to be all about the numbers,\u201d said David George, CEO of ITV America. \u201cNo one approaches unscripted content like Elan.
