{"id":9555,"date":"2023-03-01T10:23:20","date_gmt":"2023-03-01T15:23:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/joker-gets-third-season-spain\/"},"modified":"2023-03-01T11:58:48","modified_gmt":"2023-03-01T16:58:48","slug":"joker-gets-third-season-in-spain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/joker-gets-third-season-in-spain\/","title":{"rendered":"Joker Gets Third Season in Spain"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TVE in Spain has renewed the quiz format <em>Joker<\/em>, from the Global Agency catalog, for a third season of 110 episodes.<\/p>\n<p>Lavinia Audiovisual will produce the prime-time show, in which contestants aim to ascend the money tree, using their store of jokers to cancel out their wrong answers and win a cash prize.<\/p>\n<p>Airing under the local title <em>El Comodin<\/em>, the show will be broadcast on TVE from Monday to Friday at 6:25 p.m. and will be presented by Aitor Albizua and Esti Gabilondo.<\/p>\n<p><em>Joker<\/em> was developed by the creator of several Global Agency hit formats, including <em>Blind Taste<\/em> and <em>Shopping Monsters<\/em>. The format was initially broadcast on the Turkish public broadcaster TRT for over 100 episodes. It has had successful runs on RTP in Portugal and France 2.
