The production company is PIT.<\/p>\n<p>In the format, the four couples are matched by experts following a speed dating event, but they don\u2019t know which partner has been chosen for them until they see them at the altar. Immediately after committing themselves to each other in an intimate ceremony, they are dramatically abandoned on their own deserted tropical islands for the adventure of a lifetime.<\/p>\n<p>Red Arrow Studios International is launching the format at London Screenings and will distribute it internationally.<\/p>\n<p>Tim Gerhartz, president and managing director at Red Arrow Studios International, said: \u201cWe are very proud to be representing the next big format from the creators of <em>Married at First Sight<\/em>. Red Arrow Studios International is truly the home of relationship formats, making it the perfect fit for <em>Stranded on Honeymoon Island<\/em>, an emotionally charged reality show that combines the adventure and dating genres and is sure to resonate with audiences around the world.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Michael von W\u00fcrden, managing director of Snowman Productions, added: \u201c<em>Stranded on Honeymoon Island<\/em> is a loud, innovative take on the relationship format that discovers whether isolation and solitude can forge a path to true love. Two participants with an initial, mutual attraction are left utterly alone in an idyllic paradise, with few resources, nowhere to hide and no distractions\u2014apart from each other. Starting on a high they have everything to lose if they can\u2019t work together. Will paradise turn to hell? Will they fall in love or fall apart?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kristine Willems, channel manager at VTM2, commented: \u201cWe are incredibly proud to be the first to produce and broadcast <em>Stranded on Honeymoon Island<\/em>.
