The U.K. version of <em>The Traitors<\/em> was a success on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted by Alan Cumming at an ancient castle in Scotland, 20 of America\u2019s most cunning contestants\u2014a mix of famous faces and everyday people\u2014will work together on missions to build a prize fund worth up to $250,000. Hidden among them are the Traitors, whose goal is to eliminate the faithful and claim the prize for themselves, all the while remaining undetected.<\/p>\n<p>Dan McGolpin, director of iPlayer and channels for the BBC, said: \u201cFollowing the huge success of <em>The Traitors<\/em>, which has been streamed more than 28 million times on BBC iPlayer and was the talk of the nation over the festive period, we\u2019re delighted to give BBC viewers the chance to watch the brand-new U.S. series within hours of its release in America.
