Adaptations of the format have already seen success across Asia in China, India, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar, Hong Kong, Cambodia and Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p>Haryaty Rahman, senior VP of distribution for Asia, international, at Fremantle, said: \u201cWe\u2019re so pleased to be able to share the news about this fantastic deal at Asia\u2019s biggest TV market. <em>Family Feud<\/em> is the kind of format that really captures cultural nuances in a fun and often hilarious way, so we can\u2019t wait to see the format air in Malaysia. Astro are a powerhouse, and the fact that they will produce multilingual versions of <em>Family Feud Malaysia<\/em> is a testament to their vision and aptitude to cater to Malaysia\u2019s multicultural society.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Agnes Rozario, director of content at Astro, added: \u201cWe are extremely pleased to announce our adaptation of one of the most beloved game shows in the U.S. as well as around the world. <em>Family Feud<\/em> has always been synonymous with entertainment for the family as family members get to play along while spending time together. The time is right for such a production that will engage our audience across all segments on a regular basis with opportunities for Astro customers to also participate and enjoy loyalty rewards.
