The format follows as teams travel the nation and attempt to out-dine each other from their own homes.<\/p>\n<p>The adaptation is part of Banijay Rights\u2019 new agreement for the Seven Network\u2019s <em>My Kitchen Rules Australia<\/em>, with TVNZ securing the series long term, including the broadcast of the current 12th season that launched on Channel 7 and 7plus in Australia in August. The series will air this week on TVNZ 2 and TVNZ+.<\/p>\n<p><em>My Kitchen Rules<\/em> has now been ordered by 12 international broadcasters across Europe, Australia and Africa, with a further three airing the original format <em>My Restaurant Rules<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Lyle Bettson-Barker, senior VP of sales for Australia and New Zealand at Banijay Rights, said: \u201cAs one of Banijay\u2019s most outstanding culinary formats, <em>My Kitchen Rules<\/em> holds a special place in so many hearts with its focus on everyday cooking by everyday people, with ingredients we can all relate to\u2014home recipes, home cooking, friends, family, tears and laughter. We can\u2019t wait to see Seven\u2019s <em>My Kitchen Rules Australia<\/em> resonate with New Zealand audiences once again, and we\u2019re excited for a new adaptation to showcase local families and friends at TVNZ.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Philly de Lacey, CEO of Screentime New Zealand, said: \u201c<em>My Kitchen Rules<\/em> will showcase the rich diversity of quintessential home cooking here in New Zealand. As a nation, we are incredibly proud of our foodie culture, and Screentime New Zealand is set to bring creative know-how to this excellent format for TVNZ.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Angus Ross, Seven\u2019s chief content officer for entertainment programming, said: \u201cWhichever way you dice it, <em>My Kitchen Rules<\/em> is Australia\u2019s favorite cooking show, adored by millions.
