The Come Dine With Me<\/em> spin-off Come Dine With Me: The Professionals<\/em> has been given a second-season order by Channel 4.<\/p>\n

Come Dine With Me: The Professionals<\/em> sees teams of professional chefs and restaurateurs take each other on in a bid to be crowned the best independent restaurant in their area. The show will return for a second 20×1-hour season.<\/p>\n

Each self-contained episode features three local eateries competing to win a \u00a31,000 cash prize. Dave Lamb will once again lend his voiceover as narrator.<\/p>\n

The series is produced by MultiStory Media, part of ITV Studios.<\/p>\n

Distributed internationally by ITV Studios, Come Dine With Me<\/em> has seen over 17,000 episodes produced across 46 territories.<\/p>\n

Simone Haywood, executive producer, said: \u201cIt is testament to the enduring popularity of the format that this twist has proved such a success, and we can\u2019t wait to see another wave of professionals take on the Come Dine<\/em> challenge as we visit a brand new selection of U.K. restaurants.\u201d<\/p>\n
