{"id":9294,"date":"2022-10-06T11:03:04","date_gmt":"2022-10-06T15:03:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/media-ranch-represent-wild-america-brand\/"},"modified":"2022-10-06T11:03:04","modified_gmt":"2022-10-06T15:03:04","slug":"media-ranch-to-represent-wild-america-brand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/media-ranch-to-represent-wild-america-brand\/","title":{"rendered":"Media Ranch to Represent Wild America Brand"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Media Ranch has acquired the <em>Wild America<\/em> brand and has developed the new format <em>Wild America Challenge<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Wild America Challenge<\/em>\u00a0brings together aspiring, young wildlife cinematographers, who must go head to head in the high-risk, high-reward world of wildlife filmmaking. \u201cThis is just the beginning, as we aim to expand all aspects of the brand,\u201d said Sophie Ferron, president and founder of Media Ranch.<\/p>\n<p>The franchise began with <em>Wild America<\/em>, a documentary television series showcasing the wild animals and lands of North America that ran for 12 years on PBS. It was the inspiration for the Warner Bros. feature film <em>Wild America<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Media Ranch has partnered with Principal Media for finished program sales of the original <em>Wild America<\/em> series. The two companies will collaborate with Monarch Films, the original distributor that represented the brand\u2019s creators, the Stouffer brothers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMedia Ranch is thrilled to grow its partnership of influential brands, especially ones as iconic as <em>Wild America<\/em>, and to be launching the new format, <em>Wild America Challenge<\/em>,\u201d Ferron said. She added, \u201cWe and Principal Media have many exciting co-ventures planned around the <em>Wild America<\/em> franchise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAny AVOD platform that features wildlife content should consider <em>Wild America<\/em>, a 12-season series offering an unflinching portrayal of the wild animals and wild lands of North America,\u201d said Gary Rosenson, CEO of Principal Media. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to partner with Media Ranch on this franchise.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Marty, Mark and Marshall Stouffer added, \u201cWe are proud to have joined forces with Media Ranch for the exciting new competition format <em>Wild America Challenge<\/em>!
