{"id":9259,"date":"2022-09-22T08:26:01","date_gmt":"2022-09-22T12:26:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/got-talent-heads-japan\/"},"modified":"2022-09-22T13:14:00","modified_gmt":"2022-09-22T17:14:00","slug":"got-talent-heads-to-japan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/got-talent-heads-to-japan\/","title":{"rendered":"Got Talent Heads to Japan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Syco Entertainment and Yoshimoto Kogyo are delivering a brand-new adaption of the <em>Got Talent<\/em> franchise: <em>Japan\u2019s Got Talent<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Marking the first time the format will be made in Japan, <em>Japan\u2019s Got Talent<\/em> will be produced locally by Yoshimoto Kogyo and broadcasted by Abema TV. The show will launch in February 2023.<\/p>\n<p>The judging panel includes legendary comedian, actor and singer from comedy duo Downtown Masatoshi Hamada. He is accompanied by fellow judges: actress Alice Hirose, musician GACKT and actor and producer Takayuki Yamada.<\/p>\n<p>Jens Richter, CEO of Fremantle International, said: \u201cWe are incredibly proud to be partnering with Yoshimoto Kogyo to produce <em>Japan\u2019s Got Talent<\/em> for the first time ever. <em>Got Talent<\/em>\u00a0is a beloved global sensation that has entertained millions and we are sure that the show will delight Japanese audiences as it has so many others around the world. We can\u2019t wait for Abema TV to broadcast this brilliant new series.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stephen Flint, director of operations for global entertainment production, commented: \u201cIt\u2019s always an exciting adventure when a new territory comes on board for a format as successful as <em>Got Talent<\/em>.
