{"id":9152,"date":"2022-08-12T10:25:17","date_gmt":"2022-08-12T14:25:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/viaplay-group-commissions-new-adventure-format\/"},"modified":"2022-11-04T16:33:20","modified_gmt":"2022-11-04T20:33:20","slug":"viaplay-group-commissions-new-adventure-format","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/viaplay-group-commissions-new-adventure-format\/","title":{"rendered":"Viaplay Group Commissions New Adventure Format"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Viaplay Group has commissioned the adventure reality show <em>The Journey\u201415 Days in Nepal<\/em> from Meter TV, part of Banijay Nordic.<\/p>\n<p>Based on a concept from the Banijay label Mastiff TV Denmark, the series sees six celebrities travel through the depths of the Nepalese jungle to reach the Himalayan mountains, learning about the rich culture of the area and discovering how to fend for themselves in unknown terrain.<\/p>\n<p>The upcoming Swedish series features actors Peter Stormare (<em>Fargo<\/em>, <em>The Box<\/em>, <em>American Gods<\/em>) and Izabella Scorupco (<em>Hidden<\/em>, <em>Goldeneye<\/em>), comedian Alfred Svensson and World Champion swimmer Therese Alshammar, among others. It will air on Viaplay and TV3.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are looking forward to taking Viaplay\u2019s audience on this epic adventure and bringing Mastiff TV\u2019s format to life,\u201d said Madelene Hansson, managing director of Meter TV. \u201cWhile we know a lot about the celebrities, when taken out of their comfort zone they are just like us.
