HBO Max has set local versions of the hit social experiment FBOY Island<\/em> in Denmark, Spain, Sweden and the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

The show follows as three women looking to find a lasting love connection move to a tropical island where they\u2019re joined by 24 men\u201412 self-proclaimed \u201cNice Guys\u201d looking for love and 12 self-proclaimed \u201cFBoys\u201d\u2014there to compete for cold, hard cash. Warner Bros. International Television Production (WBITVP) will be producing in each territory.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0series concept was created by Elan Gale (The Bachelor<\/em>\u00a0franchise).<\/p>\n

In the U.S., FBOY Island<\/em> had the biggest debut for a Max Original reality series since the platform launched, with viewership growing week on week.<\/p>\n

FBOY Island Danmark<\/em> is produced by WBITVP Denmark. Executive producers for HBO Max are Annelies Sitvast and Christian Wikander.<\/p>\n

FBOY Island Espa\u00f1a<\/em> is produced by WBITVP Spain. Executive producers for HBO Max are Annelies Sitvast and Miguel Salvat.<\/p>\n

FBOY Island Sverige<\/em> is produced by Warner Bros. International Television Production Sverige AB. Executive producers for HBO Max are Annelies Sitvast and Christian Wikander.<\/p>\n

FBOY Island Nederland<\/em> is produced by WBITVP Netherlands. Executive producers for HBO Max are Annelies Sitvast and Sabine Feij.<\/p>\n

Sitvast, who heads up all unscripted Max Original productions commissioned and produced in EMEA, said, \u201cFBOY Island<\/em> comes to Europe with fantastic credentials, having been a huge success in the U.S. on HBO Max. What it also comes with is a fresh take on the dating series format; it\u2019s funny, self-aware and puts women front and center of the decision-making process.
