Fremantle\u2019s unscripted dating format The Farmer Wants a Wife<\/em> has been localized for CTV in Canada as Farming for Love<\/em>.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Farming for Love<\/em> follows five rural Canadian singles on their quest for romance. Produced by Lark Productions in collaboration with Fremantle and in association with CTV, the ten-part CTV original series is set to head into production later this year in British Columbia.<\/p>\n

The format is based on an original concept from the British magazine Country Living<\/em>, licensed by Fremantle. The Canadian French-language version,\u00a0L\u2019Amour est Dans le Pr\u00e9<\/em>, has had success on Noovo, which has just announced its eleventh season.<\/p>\n

In the series, five farmers open up their farms and hearts to a select group of urban singles, living and working together. While adjusting to a new lifestyle and immersing themselves in a series of challenges, group activities and dates, they endeavor to find their one true love.<\/p>\n
