In each episode, competitors are challenged with adhering to the theme, impressing the judges and avoiding elimination. The original series, commissioned by CBC, was filmed on the shores of the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick, Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Diane Rankin, Distribution360\u2019s senior VP rights and executive producer, said: \u201c<em>Race Against the Tide<\/em> really captured a lot of attention when it was launched at MIPCOM, and we are thrilled to head into MIPTV with the momentum of such prominent production companies signed up to develop this series in their own territory.
