The second season will consist of seven two-hour-long episodes, including a celebrity special.<\/p>\n<p>The first season of <em>Top Dog Germany<\/em>, launched in 2021, averaged 1.7 million total viewers, with a 12 percent share in the adult 14-49 demographic.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are so happy that German audiences love this thrilling, feel-good series as much as we do,\u201d said Robyn Hurd, VP of content sales for EMEA at A+E Networks. \u201cA+E Networks has a history of success creating regionally replicable formats that transcend cultures and borders, and <em>Top Dog<\/em> has proven itself as a prime-time family entertainment show with fun and heart that celebrates everything that makes dogs so special and beloved across the globe. We\u2019re excited to partner with RTL on a second season and look forward to the continued international success of <em>Top Dog<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The format was originally created by Big Fish Entertainment and aired in the U.S. on A&amp;E as <em>America&#8217;s Top Dog<\/em>.
