A+E Networks International has secured new format commissions for a trio of The HISTORY Channel shows in the Nordics and Latin America.<\/p>\n

Alone<\/em>, a self-shot survival competition series that will debut its eighth season on The HISTORY Channel in the U.S. in June, recently premiered its first season on discovery+ in Sweden as Ensam I Vildmarken<\/em>. The fifth season of Alone<\/em>\u2019s Danish iteration, Alene I Vildmarken<\/em>, premiered in March, while Norway premiered its version of the format, Alene<\/em>, in 2017.<\/p>\n

In Latin America, the Spanish-language format Forged in Fire<\/em> (Desafio Sobre Fuego<\/em>) will return for its fourth season on The HISTORY Channel LATAM. Forged in Fire<\/em> follows outstanding bladesmiths from across the region as they compete to create a gamut of weapons, from the traditional to the exotic.<\/p>\n

The HISTORY Channel Latin America has premiered a Spanish-language adaptation of The UnXplained<\/em>, a premium format that attempts to get to the truth behind the most bizarre and mysterious events ever reported. Hosted and executive produced in the U.S. by William Shatner, the Spanish-language format is hosted by actor, stand-up comedian and producer John Leguizamo.<\/p>\n
