Channel 4 has commissioned CPL Productions, a Red Arrow Studios company, to make a new six-episode quiz series fronted by comedian Tom Allen.<\/p>\n
Tentatively titled Quizness<\/em>, the show sees contestants\u2019 general knowledge put to the test as they play for the chance to win \u00a325,000. But the more answers the quizzers know, the dafter they must look to prove it.<\/p>\n Red Arrow Studios International will distribute the format rights internationally.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Phil Harris, head of entertainment and events at Channel 4, said: \u201cQuizness<\/em> really stood out when we were piloting ideas. It\u2019s such a strong new format that\u2019s funny, fast-paced and brilliantly play-alongable, I think families will have a lot of fun joining in and seeing who comes up with the silliest correct answers.\u201d<\/p>\n CPL\u2019s Murray Boland said: \u201cIt is so hard to find a genuine quiz with real stakes and a proper cash prize that is also really funny.
