This marks the first international reality TV series format to be licensed by the SVOD service, owned by the MultiChoice Group.<\/p>\n<p>Afrokaans also produces the South African version of Banijay\u2019s adventure reality format <em>Survivor<\/em>, which is due to air its eighth season this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Robin Pollok, VP of sales at Banijay Rights, commented: \u201cWe are excited to collaborate with Showmax and Afrokaans to develop a local adaptation of <em>Temptation Island<\/em> for South African viewers.
