{"id":8029,"date":"2021-01-29T11:20:18","date_gmt":"2021-01-29T16:20:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/britains-got-talent-pulled-2021\/"},"modified":"2021-01-29T11:36:02","modified_gmt":"2021-01-29T16:36:02","slug":"britains-got-talent-pulled-for-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/britains-got-talent-pulled-for-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Britain\u2019s Got Talent Pulled for 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 15th season of <em>Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/em> has been removed from ITV&#8217;s 2021 schedule due to production-safety concerns surrounding COVID-19, with plans to film in 2022.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for <em>Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/em> said: \u201cDespite everyone at ITV, Thames and Syco doing their best to make it happen, and with our absolute priority of safeguarding the well-being and health of every person involved in the program from judges, hosts and contestants to all of the crew and audience, the decision has been made to\u2014unfortunately\u201a move the record and broadcast of the 15th series of <em>Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/em> to 2022.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>BGT<\/em> is known for its diversity of talent with big dance groups, wonderful choirs and lavish orchestras at its heart, and it has become clear that not only is it not possible to film auditions with these types of acts in a secure way but also that they are not able to adequately rehearse and prepare safely.
